We haven’t had measurable snow in the piedmont of North Carolina in years. This image was taken in 2017.
It’s laying it down now. Big, fluffy flakes. It’s beautiful. We’re supposed to get at least six inches. More importantly, it’s going to be brutally cold so the snow will stick around for a while. Hopefully the ice that’s still here won’t be more treacherous than it already is.
I’m holed up staying warm for now.
A good part of the day has been spent contemplating. Where am I going? What do I want to do?
When I decide that, I’ll share. Meanwhile I feel comfortable with where I am – which is a big improvement over how I have been feeling.
Until later …
