“Life, what is it but a dream?”

”Life, what is it but a dream?” ~~~~ Lewis Carroll

It’s very much an Alice in Wonderland theme here in North Carolina where we’re under about a foot of snow. We haven’t had this much snow in many years.

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.” ~~~ Lewis Carroll

Before we know it, it’ll be stupid hot and a foot of snow will be a distant memory. All things change.

The Above image was taken of my heart dog Gel back in maybe 2013 in the Old Davis Hospital in Statesville before it was torn down. I went with several fellow students from the photography program I was part of. It was a very creepy place – dark and unnaturally cold. Gel went with us – which in retrospect was a stupid thing given the toxicity of the site, but we all survived as did this photo. The Old Davis Hospital is no more and Gel has passed.

Until later …
