I shot three regional championship basketball games this weekend. It was a trip – as these games usually are. This one is from Saturday night – North Lincoln High School vs. Forest Hills. I love the “dance” shots I often get in basketball shots. Is this one competition worthy? Who knows, who cares. I like it. Isn’t that all that matters?
I do feel a great sense of wellbeing now. I’m probably saving more than $100/month by not chasing the stupid dog photography thing. I’m still photographing. I’m still making money photographing. What else should I want? Nothing except to get better at what I’m doing and darned if the images I got from the three games weren’t really good.
I’m also getting really inspired by graphic design. This is the third semester I’ve attempted at Wake Technical Community College. The first two I bombed out – big time – and withdrew from my classes. This semester is going excellent. Not sure what’s different.
